CAC 1st Quarter Operation Meeting was Held Online
CAC 1st quarter operation meeting was held on 24th Apr via video-conference due to impact of Covid-19. Vice President Qi presided over the meeting, president Xie made a summary for 1Q work and Chairman Tin addressed important speech by video. The target of meeting was to summarize business operation in 1Q and deployed 2Q business and pandemic control & prevention work.
CAC faced the challenge to maintain the normal operation during the Covid-19 in first quarter, although all CAC staff took great efforts to reach an excellent performance with strong year-over-year sales revenue growing by 5.51%, which has established a stable foundation for full year target.
The 1St quarter can be summarized as below: Plant achieved remarkable performance of resuming work during epidemic period. Xiyi Plant took rigorous control and prevention measures to secure staff health, meanwhile Rudong Plant maintained the operation in Spring Festival despite the close contact between the staff and their family member, no infectious case found in plant. Jiangxi plant overcome many difficulties to record high of 2,4-D production. In order to meet market demands Suzhou Jia hui resumed work as first batch company in local.
At the same time, CAC maintained the operation internally. Sales department overcome logistic challenge to realize the balance between the production and sales, let alone inventory decrease finally. HR established a platform to facilitate staff work at home to reduce infection risk. Technical staff engaged in work soon to ensure new project research, equity investment project completed before due date.
In addition, HSE project had been promoted effectively basing on last three years “Advance Culture Establishment” propaganda ，Ecovadis development also had been benefit to CAC international cooperation.
In Summary, President Xie highly praised 1Q achievement obtained, and deployed 2Q work from 5 aspects: 1. CAC need seize the opportunity to maintain high production while prevent epidemic.2. Actively promote the project progress including the funding and technology improvement, etc. to guarantee the target completed on time. 3. To organize elite team including engineering and technical personnel to carry out research on key R&D projects which are the precondition of construction. 4. As for QHSE part, it is necessary for CAC grasp the opportunity to upgrade hardware and output remarkable results. Besides keeping high standard for quality control, CAC must increase domestic formulation quality. 5. Further efforts should be made to implement support for bulk raw material and avoid international trade risk.
At the end of the meeting, Chairman Tin addressed via video that he fully confirmed CAC 1Q work and encouraged all staff to continue fight against Covid-19 in the next period while keep business development with advanced technology and market awareness.
